The fashion industry is nearly impossible to break into at the moment. With every Tom, Dick, and Kanye trying to hop onto the scene with a fresh new line of streetwear, it might make newcomers to the game think twice about even stepping into the ring. 24-year-old Rashad Rastam isn’t even thinking about the competition. The young up-and-comer’s contemporary clothing brand, Dahsar, has already reached the likes of Spank Rock, Homeboy Sandman, and Lil Uzi, in addition to being rocked everywhere from the U.S. to India to Israel, and it’s only gaining momentum. On an unusually hot spring day in Philadelphia, Rashad and I sat down at a North Philly diner to discuss his come-up.
